University of Maryland, College Park

Session One

This session is the Professional Branding Workshop overview. It is designed to walk the student through the process of defining her Professional Brand; ensuring she has identified the building blocks to develop and communicate exactly: Who She Is, What She Does, and Why Anyone Should Care to Remember Her.

Session Two

The second session is designed to utilize the building blocks from Session One to drill down and indentify her ‘most unique value’; transitioning that value into a well-developed elevator speech. The deliverable is her clear understanding of her values; and, specifically her “unique professional value”, so she is well-prepared with her “one minute elevator speech” and, to address the all important interview challenge, “Tell me about yourself”.
