The EYH program is a conference for middle school girls to expose them to various careers in science, engineering, mathematics and technology. The AAUW-Tyler branch
brought the program to Tyler Junior College in 1992, and transitioned the program last year to, The University of Texas at Tyler.

Adult female role models who are working in professions in these areas present short
class sessions with hands-on activities. This enables the students to get a feel for different careers and helps them with making decisions in high school as to what curriculum they need to take to prepare for that career.
